INCLINE VILLAGE, NV—The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino has unveiled its $20-million, resort-wide renovation.
The transformation entailed redesigning all 398 guestrooms and suites, with $45,000 invested in each, the Sierra Café and the Spa Terrace Conference Center.
The redesigned guestrooms and suites feature a new “Grand Lodge”-style look after their $18-million renovation. A floating, oak headboard has been added, along with credenzas and nightstands with touches of brushed steel and dark leather. The carpeting has been done in slate gray and mocha.
Updated amenities include a remodeled bathroom with backlit mirrors and modern showers; “jack packs,” or all-in-one multimedia hubs that pair TV with laptops or DVD players; and locally-themed art. The new Family Junior King suites include bunk-beds.
The Sierra Café completed a $1.5-milllion redesign and renovation that entails a new, contemporary mountain look. With 208 seats of both indoor and outdoor dining space, guests will now be offered American cuisine with global influences. Local producers will be represented.
As for the design, oak tables and leather seating adorn the venue, with a new “Chef’s Table” serving as the room’s focal point. In the outdoor dining space, large umbrellas are now present.
The meeting space underwent a $500,000-renovation. The seven, 3,000-sq.-ft. meeting rooms and high-tech boardroom, with seating up to 12 people, now feature new carpeting, wall coverings, credenzas and color schemes, as well as updated technology. The palette is now mocha and slate grey, and there is locally-inspired artwork in the space.
