SALT LAKE CITY, UT–The 479-room Hilton Salt Lake City Center Hotel has unveiled plans for a $10 million refurbishment due to be completed by late-summer.

The downtown convention hotel plans to modernize all guestrooms, including bathrooms, and the wallcoverings and carpets in the guestroom corridors. The new color palette, chosen by the Design Atelier design firm in charge of the renovation, is intended to reflect the colorful Utah landscape.

The hotel's meeting space, restaurants, lobby, and fitness center have already been redone.
