ARLINGTON, VA–The Renaissance Arlington Capital View and the Residence Inn Arlington Capital View have been awarded Gold LEED Certification.
The two Marriott International-branded hotels occupy a single, year-old building in Arlington's Crystal City sub-market. The Gold LEED Certification recognizes the hotels' energy management, water conservation, recycling, ozone protection, and other environment friendly programs.
The hotel complex became one of three Gold LEED certified hotels in Virginia and one of 40 in the U.S. The hotels are owned by the JBG Cos. of Chevy Chase, MD and managed by Marriott International under a long-term agreement.
