Benchmark Hospitality International has been named to manage the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

SAN DIEGO—Benchmark Hospitality International has assumed management of the 105-room Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, here.

The property was recently acquired by JMI Realty from its long-time owners, the Royce family, for an undisclosed amount. Benchmark, which is based in The Woodlands, TX, plans to manage the property as part of its Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels division. In its role as operator, Benchmark will oversee a $12-million renovation planned by JMI.

Benchmark's Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels division presently has 13 properties in its portfolio. Based in Austin, TX, JMI Realty is best known as the master developer of the baseball district in downtown San Diego.
