CHICAGO—The 661-room Swissotel, here, has completed a $10-million upgrade of its lobby and meeting space.
The lobby now features natural stone and wood and an earth-tone color palette that is meant to reflect the hotel's Swiss heritage. Among other changes, the hotel's front desk has been replaced by more welcoming and contemporary check-in pods. The property's meeting space includes a 38,000-sq.-ft. event center. The renovation began last December.
