XIAN, SHAANXI PROVINCE, CHINA—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. opened The Westin Xian here, marking the entry of the brand into the Shaanxi province.
The hotel is the first Westin in the world and the first hotel in Xian to have its own museum, paying tribute to the ancient history of China with a collection of more than 2,000 artifacts.
The Westin Xian features 329 guestrooms and 32 one- to two-bedroom apartments. Accommodations feature flat-screen LCD televisions, rainforest showers, refreshment centers and Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed.
Xian Qujiang Museum of Fine Arts at The Westin Xian is adjacent the property, which was designed by Neri & Hu Design.
The Westin Xian offers a variety of dining experiences, including Seasonal Tastes led by Executive Chef Birol Dincl
The Westin Xian also has a fitness facility, indoor swimming pool and spa.
