MAKKAH, SAUDI ARABIA—Benjamin West has been appointed to coordinate the purchasing of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) and operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) for a 26-hotel project that is currently under construction here.

Developed by Jabal Omar Development Co., the first five hotels in the complex will include a 637-room Conrad, a 797-room Hilton Convention hotel, a 562-room Hilton Suites, a 744-room Hyatt Regency and a 455-room Marriott. All of the properties are slated to open next year. When completed the 26 hotels will offer 11,535 rooms with 40 food and beverage outlets and will represent 11 international hotel companies.

The project will involve approximately 20 Benjamin West associates on four continents. The company has increased its staff by 30% in the last 18 months.
