BURBANK, CA—Hotel Amarano here completed a $10 million expansion that includes a 2,300-sq.-ft. Chairman’s Penthouse Suite.
The expansion also includes 32 new guestrooms, expansive swimming pool, cabanas and fitness center..
The Chairman’s Suite’s living room features a large-scaled photomural of a sweeping view of the Burbank skyline at dusk, sectional sofa, hardwood floors, textured wall coverings and wood furnishings accented in polished chrome.
Other design features include wet bar at the entry level; 50-inch, wall-mounted television; a four-poster bed; LED reading lights; and master bathroom with limestone flooring, double vanities and separate shower and bathtub.
Interiors were designed by Cynthia Forchielli and Helen Glynn, principals of Forchielli Glynn, LLC, based in Los Angeles.
According to John Fitts, president/CEO of OLS Hotels & Resorts, which manages the property, the enrichments provide travelers with a sense of privacy within "a lavish, yet contemporary, atmosphere."
