NEW YORK–Lisa and Hok Lou officially opened their second Manhattan hotel last night, the 120-room Courtyard by Marriott SoHo.
The Lou family already owns the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel on West 35th St.
The 20-story Courtyard is new construction, having been built on the site of a former two-story commercial building. Shanghai Commercial Bank provided financing for the project.
Locally based PPA Architects designed the hotel, which includes a wine bar.
Richard Morse, Marriott International vp for select-service lodging, represented Marriott at the opening event.
